National Specialty WInners & Best of Opposite Sex

The first RRCUS National Specialty Show was held in the fall of 1958. For the first 17 years of the club's existence there were two Specialties each year, one in Feb in New York City in conjunction with Westminster and the other in the summer, usually in Long Beach, California. From 1976 through 1980 there were three Specialties each year, one in Feb in conjunction with Westminster, one in July in California, and one in Chicago in Oct. Since 1981 there has been one RRCUS Specialty show each year, with the site rotating between different regions of the United States.
