Bimbo was the fifth Ridgeback to finish an AKC championship and the first to go BIS. He was normally shown by his owner. According to a letter from Mr. Reardon, reproduced, in part, in the January/February 1985 issue of The Ridgeback, "I knew Major Godsol liked him very much, so I entered him in Wichita. It happened that I had to go to Amarillo, Texas, on business at that time, so I talked Ann Wadley into taking him with her. As it happened, Ann too the Hound Group and also the Sporting Group. Consequently, Ann's assistant Dee Matlz took him in for BIS."
