Committees that interest you:

  • Performance: Covers all aspects of performance events for RRs including, but not limited to obedience, field trials, agility, CGC.
  • Ways and Means: Fund raising for the Club. One important function will be to organize the raffle and fundraising table for the National Specialty.
  • Ethics: RRCUS Code of Ethics and related matters. From time to time, individuals bring complaints about alleged unethical behavior of RRCUS members. It is the duty of the Ethics Committee to investigate these complaints and make recommendations to the President and Board.
  • Education: The 2nd Vice President is the Chair of this committee, which is responsible for all aspects of education (Judges education, general public education).
  • Genetics/Health: Genetics and health issues in the breed.
  • Historian/Curator: Maintains club archives.
  • Website: RRCUS web site and other online issues.
  • Medallions: Distributes Club medallions for new champions, supported shows and specialties.
  • Public Information: Responds to US mail requests for Club information.
  • Supported shows: Receives supported show applications, tracks adherence to the supported show policy.
  • Statisticians: Compile statistics for conformation, obedience, agility, and lure coursing awards.
  • Bylaws: This committee will recommend revisions in the Bylaws.
  • Parlimentarian/Legislative Analyst: Advise the Board on matters of parlimentary procedure and wording of matters to be recommended to the membership for approval.
